Conversations with a very sick girl.
Which sucks, because I have entirely too much going on to be sick. The article about the magazine should be coming out in the Flyer tomorrow, and look at this place, it's a wreck! I haven't updated the events listing since sometime in early December, I have no idea what all is going on. I've basically been editing photographs or video footage of dogs or doing layout or writing stories or advertising one of these two crazy business ventures around the clock.
The satisfying thing is is that it's finally starting to pay off.
Anyway, how was your New Years? Mine was fine. I missed all the cool shows, though. I skipped the crowds and hung out at a party at Petra and then at the home of the drummer for Noise Choir, Lee. That house was basically awesome, it used to be Isaac Hayes' house. I had a swig of LLB's expensive champagne and stuck to Sparks for the rest of the evening, since I entirely forgot it was Sunday and I couldn't buy booze or bubbly.
Oh, I did go to Bosco's for brunch Sunday. It was lovely, even though I was by myself and working through a stack of photo retouching. The mimosas and Joyce Cobb made it a very enjoyable work day. It easily replaces my Sunday tradition of bloody marys at Cafe Ole.
If you're new to my blog, thanks for reading. Don't let that scrambled eggs thing scare you off. I'm usually not quite that graphic about things. Well, not too often, anyway.
Oh, plus, if you gave up on me now, you'd miss out on the Noise Choir and new Vending Machine MP3s I'm posting later tonight.
